A story of a temple which is just a makeshift hut:
There are several little "Samanera" monks(children) from very poor families who are learning under Polgampola Dhammaloka Thero.
• They have a very hard time in getting even one meal a day. • The child monks have to sustain themselves with just plain tea for breakfast. • They go begging for food in the village nearby.
• No place is available to sleep.
• Sanitary facilities are almost non-existent.
It is admirable how Dhammaloka Thero is staying in the poor village serving the poor villagers and educating the small children when he could come to a city to live a more easy life.
The Thero himself and his students will be very grateful if you can donate them anything; be it food, stationery for education, clothes(monk robes) or any equipment.
If you can help them get some mats to sleep, or complete the roof of their little hut, they can complete their education and serve the society educating more children.
