Chatura is the father of the children in this picture. He has been on sickbed for a year and a half. A tree fell on him and both his legs are broken.
His wife can't go to work because she is breastfeeding her children and having no one to take care of them.
Chathura is now going without any medication for several months as he is not able to earn any money.
His family survives by eating jackfruit from a nearby tree for all three meals on certain days. Chatura is not asking for money to buy food or medicine, he needs your help to start a small business selling brooms they make by hand so that he can start looking after his family himself.
They will be very grateful if you can give even as little as Rs 100. It will help a disabled man get up on his own and do something for the future of his little children?
